MY EXPERIENCE AT NIHON SEKKEI INC.

This year the Summer vacation brought to me a lot of new experiences.Working at 'Nihon Sekkei ' is the most effective one among all those.You can hardly find any body engaged in Architecture or Civil Engineering profession who never heard the name of Nihon Sekkei.Its a leading consultancy firm providing comprehensive and integrated services for architectural design, building engineering, civil engineering, urban planning, landscape design, interior design and relevant consulting and management work.Infact after 'Nikken Sekkei' its the 2nd largest Architectural consultant in Japan.Aproximately 800 Architects are employed there and more than 200 freelance architects are engaged in various international projects.

When I went there for my interview(Shinjuku Head Ofiice:37th floor of I-land Tower),it made me surprised that 800 Architects are working under the same roof.Can you imagine it !!The massive volume of it's infrastructure and the huge studio(near to the sky!) was simply unbelievable for me.Actually I went to some Architectural offices and even some construction companies of Dhaka in various occassions when I was studying in BUET.So I could compare the volume in respect of their works.

So I felt happy when they registered my name as their student staff.I worked there with other students from different universities,such as Waseda Univ.,T.Tech,Tokyo Univ. and Meiji Univ.In fact I was the only one from Utsunomiya Univ.I worked there as a Draft's man(CAD section) and sometimes in Model workshop also.But whatever I did there,the experience was really great.

To work with many people from different architecture schools is a good chance to compare yourself and to learn many official formalities that are never tought in a University. Thanks God,that I got the chance while studying in Under grad. school,where most of the people were from graduate schools.My teachers of Utsunomiya Arch.dept also inspired me to continue the job.Hopefully I can do it.I must make my best effort to carry on.But who will help me to find out the right way to go that will lead me towards my goal???...........
